Castle Windows cares for more than their clients’ homes – we care for our community. As 2020 came to a close, we were there to offer our full support to the community and its families. While last year was full of roadblocks and challenges, it also brought us together in new and creative ways. Our dedication to philanthropy and serving our community has kept us going during these uncertain times.
Last year, we were excited to announce our Thanksgiving Food Drive & Winter Warmth Drive.
Here at Castle Windows, we believe it’s essential to give thanks for our blessings and share with others. Last winter, we ran our Thanksgiving food drive, accepting donations of nonperishable food items (as well as turkey, ham, and potatoes) for donation to our local food banks as part of our campaign. Local community members dropped off food items at our office in a designated contact-free drop-off zone. Our goal was to help the local food pantry stock their shelves by the Thanksgiving holiday and keep them stocked all winter long.
Meanwhile, our Winter Warmth Drive kicked off just in time for the temperatures to dip, and we collected coats, blankets, and sweaters for our local homeless shelters. Working alongside the community, our generosity helped us warm the hearts and bodies of those in need. Again, this drive featured a contactless donation to keep our community safe.
