Why We Install ProVia® Doors

Our entry doors are built by ProVia, a manufacturer that makes every door to order instead of pulling it from a shelf of stock sizes. Made-to-order matters most on older homes, where openings have settled out of square and a stock unit needs shims, filler, and trim to hide the gap. It also opens up the design side, since a door built for your opening can carry the panel style, glass, finish, and hardware you actually want.

Steel or Fiberglass?

This is the question most homeowners get stuck on, and there isn't a universally correct answer. Both outperform wood on endurance, security, and energy efficiency. The right pick depends on what your entrance is exposed to and what you want from it.

We measure the rough opening, frame, threshold, and swing clearance, and check for squareness, since even small gaps can lead to drafts or a door that doesn't close properly down the road. Getting this right before ordering is what keeps a new door operating smoothly for years.
