Sliding & Hinged Patio Door Replacement

Sliding patio doors from  conserve wall space because the operating panel moves along a track. Hinged patio doors swing open, so they require clearance for the door panel. The existing opening, traffic flow, available clearance, preferred hardware, and home design can all help determine which configuration fits your project.

Heavy-duty stainless-steel rollers support smooth operation. A variety of handle choices and interior and exterior colors allow you to coordinate the door with your home. We offer both sliding and hinged patio doors.

Patio Door Safety & Security Features

Security hardware differs between our sliding and hinged configurations. Along with the lock itself, consider panel alignment, handle operation, frame condition, and installation quality when evaluating a patio door.

SECURITY FEATURES
Sliding & Hinged Security
Sliding Patio Doors
2-point locking handles activate a heavy-duty steel locking mechanism that latches securely into the jamb. Each handle set is keyed on the exterior.
Hinged Patio Doors
A keyed Schlage® handle and security deadbolt come standard. Tempered glass breaks into small granular chunks rather than large, jagged shards.

Heavy-Duty Stainless-Steel Rollers

A patio door can become difficult to operate when its rollers or track no longer work properly. That’s why we use DURARollerSS™ heavy-duty stainless-steel rollers. Ball bearings and 1-1/4-inch-diameter dual wheels help keep the door on track, while the roller assembly is fully adjustable to accommodate seasonal foundation shifts in older homes.

Roller condition and track alignment affect how easily a sliding patio door opens and closes. A replacement evaluation can help determine whether an existing problem involves the rollers, track, frame, panel, locking hardware, or opening.

Patio Door Colors, Handles & Configurations

A patio door occupies a large visual area between indoor and outdoor spaces, so its configuration and appearance both matter. Color, handle finish, and door style can be considered alongside the room’s interior finishes and the home’s exterior. Available combinations can vary by configuration, so confirm your preferred selections during the product-selection process.

DESIGN OPTIONS
Color & Handle Choices
