Replacement Windows

Window Styles with Lifetime Warranty Protection

At Castle Windows, we’ve provided residential replacement windows since 1977 as a family-owned home improvement company.

The Window Types We Install

Every type below opens a different way, and that mechanism is what decides where each one belongs. Use this to narrow the field before your estimate, then we’ll walk the openings with you.

NARROW THE FIELD
Which Window for Which Job
Awning Windows
Top-hinged, cranked outward from the bottom. Choose one where you want ventilation in a spot that takes weather or needs privacy, since the projecting sash keeps light rain out of the gap. Bathrooms, basements, and high wall placements are the usual candidates.
Bay & Bow Windows
Several units joined and extended past the wall. Choose one when a room needs more than a window, because the projection creates a seat or shelf inside and draws daylight from three angles. A bay uses three sections with angled sides; a bow uses four or more in a curve.
Casement Windows
Side-hinged, opened with a crank. Choose one when airflow is the priority, because the sash swings fully clear of the opening. Rule it out where a walkway, deck rail, or shrub sits inside the swing path.
Double-Hung Windows
Two sashes in one frame, both sliding, both tilting in. Choose one when you want the familiar look, when cleaning from inside matters, or when you aren’t sure. It suits more openings and more architectural styles than anything else here.
Garden Windows
A shallow glass box extending past the wall, glazed on three planes. Choose one above a kitchen sink when you want a sunlit shelf for plants and a little more depth at the counter.
Glass Block Windows
Mortared blocks forming a fixed panel, with nothing that opens. Choose one for a basement or bath opening where light matters and the view doesn’t, or where an old wood or steel frame has rusted or rotted out. Vented versions are available if the room needs air.
Slider Windows
One sash gliding horizontally on a track. Choose one for openings wider than they are tall, or anywhere reaching up to lift a sash is impractical, such as behind a counter or over a radiator.

Materials & Manufacturers

Our own windows are vinyl, designed, engineered, tested, and manufactured in our company-owned factories in North America. We also install Andersen windows as an Andersen Certified Contractor. Andersen’s 100 Series is built from Fibrex composite, a wood-fiber and polymer material, while the 400 Series pairs a natural wood interior with a low-maintenance vinyl-clad exterior.

Warranty Coverage on the Windows We Install

WARRANTY PROTECTION
Coverage That Stays With You
Coverage follows the manufacturer of the window.
Our Vinyl Windows
Covered by our Lifetime Transferable Warranty for as long as the units remain in the opening they were originally installed in. Includes defects in material and workmanship, insulated glass seal failure on Low-E units with argon fill, and accidental glass breakage, with replacement labor included.
Andersen Windows
Covered by Andersen’s own limited warranties rather than ours: two years on certified installation, with separate product terms set by Andersen that vary by series.
Transfer
Both warranties transfer to subsequent owners of the property. Our coverage is not pro-rated.
Support Across 11 States
We’ve completed work for more than 1.2 million customers across 11 states. For warranty service requests, you can reach a real person through our 24-hour personal assistance.
